Summer and yachting go together like Quantum and quality, and this is the time of year to share some news and pictures reflective of our global efforts. First, we'd like to introduce Pat Parker, former chairman of Parker Hannifin Corporation, Quantum's valued friend, mentor, and stakeholder. Here you can see Mike Perkins, with Madeleine and Pat Parker, hard at work in Monaco at the Bal de la Mer, part of the ShowBoats International Rendezvous at the end of June. The Bal de la Mer is a key fundraiser for the International SeaKeepers Society, supporting the effort to expand their worldwide ocean-monitoring and protection program. Pat Parker was kind enough to accompany Mike, and visited with the many Quantum customers in the area.
It's summer in the Netherlands, as well, and the picture shows the 'best and brightest' from Quantum Controls BV- Hans Ooms, controls and software specialist; Lambert Dinissen, Managing Director; and Theo Koop, Manager of Product Development- from Quantum Controls, BV. This engineering team continues to design and refine Quantum's hydraulic equipment and manufacturing processes. And, as you can see, Quantum's passion for technical excellence doesn't turn off at the facility doors- every Quantum team member demonstrates unflagging commitment, whether in engineering, service, manufacturing, installations, or commissioning.
