Quantum stabilizer systems are engineered, manufactured, and tested in two facilities – Quantum Marine engineering based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA; and Quantum Controls BV based at Nuth, The Netherlands. Quantum’s owners and principals are on site and continue to infuse each step of the manufacturing process with their personal commitment to quality, customer service, and excellence in manufacturing. In recognition of Quantum’s standing in the community, the South Florida Manufacturers Association, a prestigious association of over 150 companies that promotes growth and knowledge in this vital sector, awarded Quantum Marine Engineering of Florida runner-up honours in the “Manufacturers of the Year” competition in 2008.

Quantum Controls BV focuses on designing and manufacturing hull unit/actuator assemblies, fins, and control systems and leads the company research and development efforts, including extensive model testing. Quantum Marine Engineering concentrates on manufacturing power packs, Refit and Repair along with co-ordination of the Service Division. Both facilities rely on state-of-the-art software for 3D modelling, and the in-house engineers work with builders and yards to insure that all equipment is built to purpose.

Since 1987, innovation has been a hallmark of Quantum’s success. Quantum will continue its inventive approach to advanced engineering and design solutions for the marine industry. Cultivating the art of innovation is how Quantum maintains leadership in yacht and ship motion control systems, and ensures comfort at sea-at any speed.
