Model 2200 Fin Actuator
     Quantum Controls ships complete actuator assemblies ready to install, without the need for disassembly and reassembly. Quantum Controls innovations include a tiller arm engineered for easy service, modern hydraulic components, simple locking devices, improved seal and bearing design, a housing manufactured from a solid block of space-age aluminum alloy, and the legendary Quantum fit, finish, and attention to detail. Gleaming stainless polished for presentation in the finest engine rooms, carbon fiber housing, and linear bonded polyurethane enamel- all part of the Quantum Controls QC Series.

     The QC 2200 series fits vessels ranging in size from 60m (196.8 ft.) to 120m (393.7 ft.). Quantum Controls determines the precise configuration for maximum performance from your vessel information.

Tiller Arm
 
Material: St. 52 high strength steel with zinc end plates for maximum corrosion resistance
Attachment Method: The tiller arm is split-type, with three clamping bolts for zero backlash.
Cylinder Pins: Case hardened, press fit and fitted with locking plate to prevent axial movement
Offset: Increases maximum deflection to 45 degrees for highest performance
